The CalCEF Angel Fund made two investments in
HID Labs, closing out
the company’s seed round and leading its subsequent Series A
round. HID Labs delivers intelligent high intensity lighting that helps
industrial, commercial and governmental customers reduce electricity
consumption and improve environmental sustainability. CalCEF Angel Fund
was joined by premier investors including American CalCEF Angel Fund also led a Series A investment in San Francisco-based Allopartis Biotechnologies. X/Seed Capital Management participated as a co-investor in the round. Allopartis Biotechnologies is a biofuel industry company focused on providing technologies for improving the efficiency and decreasing the cost for converting sustainable biomass products into clean-burning fuels. |
